This year is set to be one of the biggest in Wi-Fi with 6 GHz devices becoming more and more readily available – and 2022 is also proving to be a big year for Ekahau.
Ekahau has been extremely busy innovating its products and updating a completely new training suite offering.
Below, Ekahau provide an update on what’s new at Ekahau University and with the ECSE (Ekahau Certified Solutions Engineer) classes and outlines why signing up for training now can help you advance your career and take you from building mediocre Wi-Fi to awesome wireless networks.
First Up: ECSE Design Classes Now Covering 6 GHz
Ekahau's ECSE Design is the most popular Wi-Fi training class in the industry, providing students with the fundamentals they need to design high-performing Wi-Fi networks using the full suite of Ekahau Connect products.
If a student passes the ECSE Design exam, they receive an extremely respected and highly desired ECSE Design certification. More than 1,500 students were certified last year and more are getting certified every day!
This class has always covered 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks comprehensively, and now with Wi-Fi 6E devices coming to market, Ekahau has launched all-new 6 GHz content.
This updated ECSE Design class also covers how to use the latest versions of all Ekahau products, including the newest software AI Pro. The newly updated course ensures IT Pros taking these classes are prepared for the networks they are seeing today – as well as the networks they will be seeing in the future.
Back and Better than Ever: Troubleshooting Classes!
After taking an ECSE Design class, the next step to expanding your knowledge is ECSE Troubleshooting.
After a brief hiatus earlier this year, ECSE Troubleshooting is now back bigger and better than ever.
Attending an ECSE Troubleshooting class gives you a better understanding of how wireless frames traverse the air (magic, we know, but we can reveal a few secrets here!).
Students that attend the class will get a baseline of knowledge and shared vocabulary, covering fundamentals of RF, 802.11, and how Wi-Fi works from a Wi-Fi client device perspective. They will also work through multiple network troubleshooting processes using various tools and techniques at each stage to identify issues including investigating, measuring, validating, analyzing, interrogating, and managing.
Finally, you'll do a deep dive into spectrum analysis so you can spot anomalies and non-Wi-Fi interference so your Wi-Fi networks stay high performing.
Want a Quick Ekahau Refresher? We’ve Got You Covered.
Another solution that Ekahau offers is their Quick Start training. The Ekahau Quick Start Training is designed to take you through all of the basic workflows that you need to know to design Wi-Fi networks, with a high-level overview on how to get started using the Ekahau products.
Ekahau will be updating the content of the Quick Start training in the next few weeks to cover the latest updates in the Ekahau product solutions.
